This goal covers decent work, safe working environments and productive growth. In a Fab Lab, makers can support safe practice with tools that record training and machine use, and build equipment that supports local livelihoods.
Supports safe working environments (target 8.8): only people inducted on a machine are shown as cleared, and usage hours are logged for fair cost sharing.
Simple, affordable automation raises productivity and cuts errors for micro-manufacturers and home-based assembly work (target 8.2).
